Capability is the scarce resource. We build it.

The industry has enough content. Silicore is built for the harder part: turning content into demonstrated engineering capability.

Why Silicore exists

The semiconductor industry is expanding faster than the pipeline of people who can do the work. Countries are funding fabs and design centers; colleges are adding VLSI programs; teams are hiring for skills that courses alone do not produce. What is scarce is not information — it is capability: the ability to write RTL that synthesizes cleanly, verify it honestly, bring up a board methodically and document work so others can build on it.

What we are building toward

  • Learning that behaves like engineering. Roadmaps with milestones, reviews and evidence — the same discipline used in real projects — applied to skill-building.
  • Tools that encode good practice. Each Silicore app packages a professional habit — lab rubrics, bring-up records, career planning — into software anyone can use in a browser.
  • Training that survives the workshop. Cohort programs that end with artifacts and honest completion reports, not attendance certificates.

The long game

Silicore’s ambition is to be the practical layer of semiconductor education: the place where students become employable, stuck projects get unstuck, and teams turn training budgets into demonstrated capability. Every service and app on this site is a step toward that — shipped, usable and improving.
